Cost of oil grows, and Brent is at $63.62 a barrel

February 15, Fineko/abc.az. The value of oil of standard grades is steadily increasing in the course of Monday’s trading amid the improvement of the oil demand forecasts.

By 9:40 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of April’s Brent crude oil futures grew by $1.19 (1.91%) up to $63.62 per barrel. At the end of trading on 12 February the Brent futures for April rose in price by $1.29 (2.11%) up to $62.43 per barrel.

By 9:40 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of March’s WTI oil futures rose by $1.38 (2.32%) up to $60.85 per barrel. At the end of trading on 12 February the WTI futures for March grew by $1.23 (2.11%) up to $59.47 per barrel.

At the end of the last week Brent crude oil increased by 5.2% and WTI by 4.6%.
