March 1, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved the State Program on Protection & Development of Carpet Art for 2018-2022.

The Program purpose is to protect and ensure the sustainable development of the material and moral heritage of carpet art, create raw materials, improve infrastructure, create new jobs, and strengthen the carpet potential in the districts of the country.

The Program also says about creation and development of export brand Azerbaijan Carpet.

Financing of the measures envisaged in the Program will be ensured at the expense of the state executive bodies and governmental agencies.
