Teacher salary increased by 10% in Azerbaijan

March 1, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on raising salaries of employees of educational institutions.

Under the decree, in order to strengthen the social protection of employees of educational institutions (except for higher education institutions) their wages will be increased by 10% from 1 March 2018.

In compliance with another presidential decree, the salaries of employees of scientific enterprises and organizations financed from the State Budget were increased by 10%. The decree comes into force on 1 March 2018.
