Monitoring reveals fuel quality problems in Azerbaijan

February 17, Fineko/abc.az. The monitoring of fuel quality has been organized at 36 gas stations in Azerbaijan in 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that Mamed Abbasbeyli, deputy head of the State Service for Antimonopoly Control & Consumer Market Supervision, stated about this at an online conference.

He stressed that there are petrol quality deviations in most of the gas stations, and the complaints received from citizens have been confirmed: "Currently, the data obtained is being studied. There are problems with the quality of fuel AI 92. A fuel quality standard is currently being developed. This refers to the entire process from the production of fuel to its delivery to the consumer. Now the issue with the standard is at the final stage of approval, and we hope that after its implementation there will be no such problems."
