February 25, Fineko/abc.az. Currently, there are no obstacles for Azerbaijani citizens to visit Iran in connection with trade and medical tourism.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by Veli Teymuri, Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage & Tourism.

He said that work is underway in connection with foreign tourists’ trips to Iran: "If the situation with the coronavirus does not worsen, then these visits can take place on Novruz Bayram as part of the health protocols. We can ensure the arrival of tourists in the country during the days of Novruz."

The deputy minister also commented on the trips of Iranian tourists to Azerbaijan during the days of Novruz.

He noted that his country does not prevent this.
