Oil rises in price, and Brent is at $65.41 a barrel

March 1, Fineko/abc.az. The prices for oil are increasing in Monday’s trading, in anticipation of new OPEC+ decisions on the level of oil production from April 2021. The OPEC+ ministerial meeting will be held on 4 March.

By 10:40 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of May’s Brent crude oil futures increased by $0.99 (1.54%) up to $65.41 per barrel. At the end of trading on 26 February the Brent futures for May fell in price by $1.69 (2.61%) to $64.42 per barrel.

By 10:40 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of April’s WTI oil futures rose by $0.96 (1.56%) up to $62.46 per barrel. At the end of trading on 25 February the WTI futures for April fell by $2.03 (3.22%) to $61.50 per barrel.
