Georgia has increased electricity volume bought from Azerbaijan

March 5, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia purchased 827.8 million kWh of electricity for Jan-Feb 2021, including 299.7 million kWh (36.2%) from Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the report of the Commercial Operator of the Georgian Electric Power System (ESCO).

Georgia’s electricity volumes imported from Azerbaijan increased by 16.7% year-on-year.

Georgia purchased the most of all electricity from Russia for Jan-Feb 2021 – 521 million kWh.
