March 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Council on Agricultural Subsidies has examined the growing costs of farmers on diesel fuel before raising the subsidy rates for crop areas.

ABC.AZ reports that Firdovsi Fikretzade, the director of the Center for Agricultural Research under the Ministry of Agriculture, stated about this when commenting on the latest decision of the Council.

"In accordance with the increase of the coefficients, the amount of subsidy per hectare on each type of land increases from 20 up to 40 manats. If in December 2020 the approved sowing coefficient was 1, that is, 200 manats were given for each hectare, then the new coefficient is 1.2, that is, 240 manats are given for each hectare," he said.
