Russia to deliver gas to Armenia temporarily through Azerbaijan

March 17, Fineko/abc.az. Transit of gas from Russia to Armenia will be temporarily transported through Azerbaijan’s territory.

ABC.AZ reports that the data was spread by Gazprom Export.

The reason for this is the repair of the North Caucasus – Transcaucasia gas pipeline, through which Russian gas passes through Georgia.

"SOCAR and Gazprom signed a short-term agreement on transportation of Russian gas on 16 March. This will allow for the continuation of gas supplies to consumers in Armenia (through the territory of Azerbaijan - ed.) during the scheduled repair work on the North Caucasus - Transcaucasia gas pipeline," ABC.AZ reports citing Russian media.
