Turkey observes sharp growth of US dollar

March 30, Fineko/abc.az. The lira has declined in price, while the US dollar began to rise rapidly in Turkey.

ABC.AZ reports that the reason given is the dismissal of Murad Cetinkai, deputy chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBTR).

By the decree of President R. T. Erdogan, Mustafa Duman was appointed to the post of deputy chairman.

Shortly after the decree, the Turkish lira fell by about 0.8%, and the dollar/TL rate fell to 8.28.
