WhatsApp tests a new function

April 6, Fineko/abc.az. WhatsApp messenger is testing a feature to allow transferring the chat history between phones running the iOS and Android operating systems, ABC.AZ reports with reference to portal WABetaInfo.

The feature includes transferring conversations, message history, received files, and community subscriptions from one platform to another. Currently, migration is only possible with the use of third-party programs. The reason for this is that on Apple devices, the backup is saved in the iCloud cloud service, and Android devices back up data on Google Drive.
