Kocharyan sues Pashinyan

April 8, Fineko/abc.az. On 7 April, former Armenian president Robert Kocharian filed a lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The relevant information was distributed by the judicial system of Armenia.

Kocharian filed a lawsuit against Pashinyan in a criminal case, initiated and subsequently dismissed. The ex-president demands compensation for the moral damage caused to him.

It should be noted that the Constitutional Court of Armenia has dismissed charges against Robert Kocharyan for overthrowing the constitutional order.

On 26 March, the Constitutional Court of Armenia declared the article "overthrow of the constitutional order", under which the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharian is being tried, invalid and contradicting two articles of the Constitution of the republic.
