Vaccination goes faster in rich countries

April 9, Fineko/abc.az. 40% of Covid-19 vaccines were introduced in the 11 richest countries, where 27% of the world's population lives.

ABC.AZ reports that while 11% of the poorest states received only 1.6% of these drugs, the rate of vaccination against Covid-19 in the countries with the highest incomes is 25-fold higher than in the countries with the lowest incomes.

24% of the global vaccination was used in the U.S., where 4.3% of the world's population lives. While the share of China, whose population makes up 18% of the world's population, is 20% in global vaccination.
