Top of successful computer seller companies


April 13, Fineko/abc.az. Global sales of computers in the 1st quarter of 2021 increased by 55.6% (versus Q1 of 2020) up to 84 million, due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, ABC.AZ reports with reference market research agency IDC.

According to IDC, the market, which sells about 1 million computers a day, is led by China's Lenovo with a share of 24.3%.

Over the reporting term this company sold 20.4 million computers (59.1% more year-on-year). Lenovo is followed by American companies HP with a market share of 22.9% and Dell - 15.4%.

HP sold 19.2 million (64.1% more than a year earlier) and 12.9 million (23.4% more) computers, respectively.
