IMF forecast: Azerbaijan's daily crude oil exports to decline

April 13, Fineko/abc.az. According to the updated forecasts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Azerbaijan’s daily crude oil exports this year will amount to 540,000 barrels (6.9% less than in 2020).

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the April issue of IMF’s Regional Economic Outlook report on the Middle East and Central Asia. It is predicted that in 2022, oil exports will fall to 500,000 b/d.

Thus, according to Fund's estimates, the country is forecasted to export 79.4% of its daily oil production in 2021 and 75.6% in 2022.
