SOCAR published a report for Q1 - more than AZN 1.4 million tons of oil refined

April 16, Fineko/abc.az. The oil refining complex of the Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) has processed more than 1.4 million tons of oil and more than 1.1 bn cu m of natural gas.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in SOCAR-published figures on drilling, production, processing and export in the 1st quarter of 2021.

During the past quarter, about 669,000 tons of oil, petrochemical and gas chemical products produced at SOCAR enterprises in Azerbaijan were exported to foreign countries. The growth made up 25% compared with Jan-Mar 2020. This was mainly achieved through the export of diesel, bitumen, coke, lubricating oils and petrochemical products.
