April 19, Fineko/abc.az. Today, President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the improvement of the management of state support for non-governmental organizations and canceling the decree of 13 December 2007 "On the establishment of the Council of State Support for NGOs under the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan".

ABC.AZ reports that in compliance with the decree with the purpose to increase the role of NGOs in the life of the state and the society, organize their activities in accord with the requirements of the new era, improve the organizational and legal foundations and mechanisms of state support in this area, public legal entity Agency for State Support of NGOs of Azerbaijan will be established on the basis of the Council for State Support of NGOs under the Presidential Administration.
