Gasoline imports in Azerbaijan sharply doubled

April 19, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of gasoline imported in Azerbaijan for Jan-Feb of this year has been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that for the first 2 months the country imported 12,174.23 tons of automobile gasoline (AI-95 and AI-98) for $7.29 million (AZN 12.397 million).

Compared with Jan-Feb 2020, this indicator grew by 68.3% in quantitative terms and by 21.4% in value terms.

Over Jan-Feb 2021 alone Azerbaijan imported 11,934.35 tons of AI-95 (Premium) motor gasoline for $7.104 million (AZN 12.08) that is by 78.3% more in annual terms and 28.4% more in value terms.
