Italy resumes accepting tourists

April 20, Fineko/abc.az. Italy plans to resume tourist travel this summer, suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

ABC.AZ reports that Italian Ambassador to Russia Pasquale Terracciano informed about this at a media conference.

Earlier, Italian ministers said they plan to accept foreign tourists in the country from 2 June.

"I confirm that this possibility is taken into account. In my view, this may happen in the summer. I can't promise it will be June 2, but there is no doubt that the tourist flow will resume this summer," the diplomat said.
