Oil declines in value, and Brent is at $66.17 a barrel

April 21, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are falling in Wednesday’s trading because of an increase in the incidence of Covid-19 in a range of countries.

By 9:28 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the June’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.40 (0.60%) to $66.17 per barrel. Following the trading on 20 April the price of Brent crude oil futures for June decreased by $0.48 (0.72%) to $66.57 per barrel.

By 9:28 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of the June’s WTI oil futures dropped by $0.45 (0.72%) to $62.22 per barrel. At the end of trading on 20 April the WTI futures for June fell in price by $0.76 (1.20%) to $62.67 per barrel.
