April 23, Fineko/abc.az. At the end of this year a large agricultural complex will start operating. It will export output from Azerbaijan to Europe, Russia and the CIS countries.

ABC.AZ reports that the construction of the agricultural complex, located in the Khudat town of Khachmaz district, was started last September.

The agricultural complex, which is being built on an area of 12 hectares, along with a logistics center, checkpoints, administrative buildings for governmental agencies, cold storage warehouses, sorting and packaging sites, provides for the construction of an office, a guest house, a restaurant and other auxiliary buildings.

All the equipment to be used in the agricultural complex is purchased from European countries - Italy, France, Germany and others.

These are sorting scanners, electromechanical devices, equipment for weighing, packaging, automatic palletizing, pallet packaging, systems for ensuring the quality flow of fruits and vegetables, washing plants, special type bins for washing and storing fruits and vegetables.

Contracts have already been signed with the companies and the process of equipment delivery has begun.
