April 23, Fineko/abc.az. The Mud Volcanoes Tourism Complex in Gobustan, the foundation of which was laid by President Ilham Aliyev on Thursday, will be put into operation until the summer of 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by State Tourism Agency’s chairman Fuad Nagiyev.

"We plan to complete the construction of the complex by the next summer season.

To create the road infrastructure leading to the complex, it is planned to build a 20 km road to ensure traffic to the Gylynj volcano and other nearby volcanoes from the Gobustan Reserve, as well as lead to the creation of the Baku-Gobustan-Mud Volcanoes tourist cluster," Nagiyev said in an interview for AzTV.
