April 27, Fineko/abc.az. An Israeli company will build a buffalo farm in Zangilan.

ABC.AZ reports that the project was presented to President Ilham Aliyev.

The representative of the Israeli company reported to the head of state that Israel plans to initially build a buffalo farm in the Zangilan district using the "smart farm" technology with the expectation of 300-400 heads of cattle, and in the future to expand production to 1,000 heads.

According to him, the animals will be equipped with special sensors.

"It is also planned to process manure, from which fertilizers and biogas can be obtained. The Israeli company also plans to treat wastewater and accumulate solar energy. This means that you produce large amounts of electricity without creating large electricity infrastructure. Such a farm will be very interesting. Thus, we want to bring knowledge and experience in the technologies of dairy farms owned by Israel to Azerbaijan, the Karabakh region," Israeli company’s rep emphasized.
