Shah Deniz daily production capacity is 58 million cu m

April 29, Fineko/abc.az. BP-Azerbaijan produced 5.1 bn cu m of gas from Shah Deniz field for the 1st quarter of 2021 (8.5% more versus Q1 of 2020).

Over Jan-Mar 2021 approximately 1 million tons of condensate (or 7.8 million barrels) were also extracted from the Shah Deniz field that conforms to the indicator of Q1 of 2020.

"Currently, the field's production capacity is 58 million cu m a day, or more than 21 bn cu m a year," the company said.

Shah Deniz consortium’s costs for Q1 of 2021 within the development of this field amounted to $869 million. Operating costs on the project reached $688 million and capital expenditures $181 million.
