Elman Rustamov: Central Bank has kept discount rate

April 30, Fineco/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has taken a decision to keep the discount rate at 6.25%.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA chairman Elman Rustamov stated about this at an online press conference on Friday.

Thus, the lower threshold of the interest rate corridor is maintained at 5.75% and the upper one at 6.75%.

It should be noted that at its meetings on 29 January 2021 and 19 March 2021 the CBA Board also decided to maintain the parameters of the interest rate corridor.
