Rex Tillerson dismissed from his post as U.S. Secretary of State

March 13, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. President Donald Trump has fired Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

Foreign media report that Mr. Tillerson will be replaced by Mike Pompeo, current director of CIA.

In his Twitter blog Donald Trump thanked Mr. Tillerson for work done and expressed confidence that new Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will be successful in office.

Gina Haspel will become the new Director of the CIA, and the first woman so chosen.
