Russia did not allow import of Azerbaijani tomatoes

May 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Caucasian Interregional Department of the Rosselkhoznadzor did not allow more than 52 tons of fresh tomatoes from Azerbaijan to enter Russia during April.

ABC.AZ reports that in April 2021 the CID controlled the import of 39,656 tons of fresh vegetables and fruits imported to the Dagestan section of the state border from Azerbaijan and Iran.

During the quarantine phytosanitary control three batches of fresh tomatoes (52.2 tons) from Azerbaijan were not allowed to enter the territory of the Russian Federation.
