Export of home tomatoes reduced

May 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2021 Azerbaijan exported 42,271 tons of tomatoes for $36.67 million.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Customs Committee that in April tomatoes were exported for $15.415 million.

Compared with Jan-Apr 2020, tomato export decreased by 38% in value terms and by 42% in quantitative terms. For Jan-Apr 2020 the country exported 73,341 tons of tomatoes for $58.985 million.
