May 24, Fineko/abc.az. These days, the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey are discussing how to plan reconstruction and restoration work in the occupation-liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Turkish Culture & Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy informed about this.

According to the minister, Armenia has been encroaching on the cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani lands occupied by it for many years.

"These lands, along with infrastructure and restoration works, will primarily be used for the restoration of archaeological sites of cultural and historical significance. After the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Azerbaijan in the coming weeks, our activities related to the reconstruction and restoration of Karabakh will be strengthened. In the shortest possible time, the restoration and preservation of cultural and historical monuments will give an impetus to the development of tourism in the region," Ersoy emphasized.
