Oil rises in value, and Brent is at $68.66 a barrel

May 25, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices keep in growing in Tuesday’s trading due to the market optimism regarding the demand prospects.

By 9:40 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the July’s Brent crude futures increased by $0.20 (0.29%) up to $68.66 per barrel. At the end of trading on 24 May the price of Brent crude oil futures for July grew by $2.02 (3.04%) up to $68.46 per barrel.

By 9:40 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of July’s WTI oil futures rose by $0.12 (0.18%) up to $66.17 per barrel. At the end of trading on 24 May the WTI futures for July increaesd in price by $2.47 (3.89%) up to $66.05 per barrel.

Goldman Sachs considers that the increase in the oil demand will compensate for the expected growth in supply from Iran.
