May 31, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Metro is preparing for the construction of a new metro station on the purple line to be the 4th in a row after stations ‘Bus Station’, ‘Memar Ajemi’ and ‘November 8’, ABC.AZ reports citing Baku Metro’s spokesman Bakhtiyar Mammadov.

"Preliminary preparatory work for the construction of the station has begun. The most modern construction methods will be used here. In particular, the ground method will be used on the walls. The biggest advantage of this method is that it allows performing maximum quality work on a limited area. The installation of appropriate piles on the construction site will ensure environmental friendliness, as well as minimize the noise that spreads around during the movement of trains. The B4 station is being built on Jalil Mammadguluzade Street in Baku, behind the Heydar Aliyev Sports & Concert Complex, " Mammadov said.
