June 1, Fineko/abc.az. From today, foreign citizens from more than 50 countries will be able to enter Georgia through land borders.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Georgian media that for this purpose it will be necessary to present a document with a negative result of the analysis of the HRP obtained in the last 72 hours, and a certificate of full vaccination against a new type of coronavirus.

Foreign citizens will have to pass a second test check at their own expense within 72 hours if they stay in Georgia for an extended period of time.

Otherwise, a fine of GEL 2,000 is envisaged.

Free passage through the land borders between Georgia and Azerbaijan has been suspended since 14 March 2020.
