June 2, Fineko/abc.az. In the system of compulsory medical insurance, medical institutions under the jurisdiction of TABIB issue referrals.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by the head of the Marketing & Public Relations Department of the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance Aynura Akhmedova in her speech on the topic "The procedure for issuing referrals in the CHI system".

She noted that referrals can be transferred to both private and public medical institutions.

"It is impossible to go to several doctors with one referral. If someone receives treatment, they may, for certain reasons, re-visit the hospital within 45 days. The referral is issued by the medical institution within 10 days. The citizen, in addition to the referral, must present an identity card at the hospital."
