Population has reduced purchase of rubles from banks

June 3, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2021 the Azerbaijani population bought 672.784 million Russian rubles from banks (48.3% less versus Jan-Apr 2020).

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, in April the population purchased 187.534 million rubles (2.7% more than in March).

In addition, the total amount of ruble money mass sold by the country's population to banks over Jan-Apr 2021 reached 4.582 billion rubles (15.2% more year-on-year).

In April, the population sold 1.265 billion rubles to banks, and as a result, monthly positive trend made up 2.5%.
