June 3, Fineko/abc.az. President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron has sent a congratulatory letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the Republic Day.

ABC.AZ reports that in the letter Macron conveyed to the head of state, as well as to the entire Azerbaijani people, his most sincere congratulations, and wishes for peace, prosperity and progress on the occasion of the national holiday of Azerbaijan.

"As we approach the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationships between our countries, our strong and long-standing bilateral relations have significantly strengthened. During our last telephone conversation on 14 January of this year we wanted to breathe new life into our bilateral relations. It was with the same openness and sincerity that you received Secretary of State Jean-Baptiste Lemoine, who visited Baku on 25 January of the current year," the letter says.
