Oil falls in price after last week’s rise, and Brent is at $71.41 a barrel

June 7, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices of standard grades are declining in Monday’s trading after a significant rise following the past week.

According to Dow Jones, over the past week Brent crude oil added 4.6% in price and WTI crude oil 5%.

By 9:44 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the August’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.48 (0.67%) to $71.41 per barrel. At the end of the trading on 4 June the Brent futures for August rose in price by $0.58 (0.81%) up to $71.89 per barrel.

By 9:44 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of July’s WTI oil futures fell by $0.40 (0.57%) to $69.22 per barrel. At the end of the trading on 4 June the price of WTI futures for July rose by $0.81 (1.18%) up to $69.62 per barrel.
