June 9, Fineko/abc.az. Agro-drones that perform the function of spreading fertilizers and seeds have been tested in Azerbaijan for the first time.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Togrul Gafarbeyli, department head at the Ministry of Agriculture.

He noted that these drones will be presented at the 14th International Agricultural Exhibition CaspianAgro to start tomorrow.

Gafarbeyli said that one of the novelties is agro-drones that scan and pollinate in the field.

"These drones have been tested in both mountainous and lowland areas, and high results have been achieved. The drones will be rented out to farmers at quite reasonable prices," Ministry’s spokesman said.
