Oil falls in cost, and Brent is at $71.79 a barrel

June 10, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are decreasing in Thursday’s trading.

According to the US Department of Energy, U.S. oil reserves decreased last week by 5.24 million barrels to 474.03 million barrels, gasoline reserves increased by 7.05 million barrels to 241.03 million barrels, distillates by 4.41 million barrels up to 137.21 million barrels.

By 9:13 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the August’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.43 (0.60%) to $71.79 per barrel. At the end of the trading on 9 June the price of Brent futures for August was unchanged at $72.22 per barrel.

By 9:13 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of July’s WTI oil futures fell by $0.40 (0.57%) to $69.56 per barrel. At the end of the trading on 9 June the price of WTI futures for July fell by $0.09 (0.13%) to $69.96 per barrel.
