June 10, Fineko/abc.az. Out of the 26 banks operating in Azerbaijan, eight did not wait until the end of the year for payment of profit tax.

Among them are Kapital Bank, International Bank of Azerbaijan, PASHA Bank, Xalq Bank, Bank of Baku, Express Bank and Azerbaijan Industrial Bank (ASB), and Yapi Credit Bank Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports with a link to the ranking.

The above-mentioned banks paid a total of AZN 32.145 million of profit tax to the State Budget for Jan-Mar of this year. The highest figure was recorded on Kapital Bank (AZN 13.908 million) and the lowest one on ASB (AZN 101,000).

The remaining 18 banks left to resolve this issue until the end of the year. One of them is the Baku branch of the National Bank of Pakistan, which ended the 3-month term of this year with loss, so it is natural that this bank still does not pay profit tax.
