Average monthly salary decreased by 2% in Azerbaijan

June 11, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2021 the average monthly nominal salary of employees in Azerbaijan’s economy amounted to 722.3 manats, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

For Jan-Mar of this year the average monthly nominal salary of employees decreased by 1.9% (versus the same period of 2020), amounting to 722.3 manats. The highest salaries were recorded in the areas of mining, financial and insurance activities, professional, scientific and technical activities, information and communication, as well as transport and warehousing.
