Intercity buses in Azerbaijan to operate on weekends


June 11, Fineko/abc.az. Intercity and inter-district passenger transportation via regular route lines in Azerbaijan will serve passengers all weekends.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by State Road Transport Service’s press secretary Nurida Allahyarova.

She noted that when buying tickets from passengers, a Covid-19 passport is not required:

"But this does not mean that the initial examination of passengers will not be carried out. A passenger who feels unwell, it is better not to buy a ticket. Tickets can be purchased both at the ticket offices of the bus station and on the website," she said.

At present, the Baku International Bus Station complex has sufficient passenger traffic and is fully managed, the representative of the State Transport Service added.
