ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after the signing of the Shusha Declaration, speaking to the press with joint statements with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

"This is a very important step. We will further strengthen this in the subsequent process, and by strengthening it, we will continue on our way. As my brother just said, with the Shusha Declaration, we outlined a roadmap for our relations at a new stage. The declaration, consisting of eleven A4 pages, is becoming a reality in Shusha today. This is extremely important. This Declaration between Turkey and Azerbaijan covers a number of issues. Taking steps related to the future, we see that this document expresses a determination that covers not only the two countries, but also the entire region," Erdogan said.
