U.S. Central Bank interest rates again unchanged


June 17, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. Central Bank (Fed) announced the interest rate decision on 16 June.

ABC.AZ reports that as it was expected, Fed's forecasts were confirmed.

So, at the June meeting it was expected that the Fed would not make changes to the interest rates. The U.S. central bank met expectations and kept interest rates in the range of 0.0-0.25%.

At the same time, the Fed announced that it will continue its program of buying securities for at least $120 bn a month.
