U.S. has awarded grants to airports for $8 bn

June 23, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration will allocate $8 bn in grants to help restore the operation of the country's airports affected by the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that awarding of grants has a special purpose.

So, at a time when more Americans will start traveling again after getting vaccinated, the grants will save jobs and support the recovery of the aviation sector.

The allocated funds will be used to pay salaries to employees and implement construction projects.
