Nakhchivan Airport withdrawn from subordination of AZAL

June 24, Fineko/abc.az. Nakhchivan Airport has been transferred to the subordination of the Cabinet Ministers of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

ABC.AZ informs that Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decree on the transfer of the Nakhchivan International Airport to the subordination of the Cabinet Ministers of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Under the decision, the Nakhchivan International Airport has been removed from the subordination of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) and transferred to the subordination of the NAR’s Cabinet Ministers.

The decision will come into force on 1 July 2021.
