Russia has increased natural gas extraction more than by 13%

June 24, Fineko/abc.az. Natural gas extraction in Russia for the first 5 months of 2021 increased by 13.2% (versus the same term of 2020) and reached 286 bn cu m.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Russian Statistics Service (Rosstat), gas production in May increased by 23.5% year-on-year.

Over Jan-May 2021 extraction of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the country amounted to 13.1 million tons (2.6% less against the same term of 2020).
