ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev in an interview for Azerbaijani television after the ceremony of laying the foundation of the Alat Free Economic Zone.

"Since in countries with favorable geographical location, these zones have achieved great success, primarily due to their geographical location. Therefore, as for us, we had to work even more efficiently, taking into account this geographical location, and offer investors more attractive conditions," the head of state said.
