Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $76.05 a barrel

July 5, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are declining in Monday's auction in anticipation of OPEC+ decisions. Negotiations between the OPEC+ ministers about oil production levels since August, which started last week, have been postponed until Monday.

By 9:28 am, at the auction on the London ICE Futures Exchange the September’s Brent crude futures fell in price by $0.12 (0.16%) to $76.05 per barrel. Following the trading on 2 July the Brent crude futures for September increased by $0.33 (0.44%) up to $76.17 per barrel.

By 9:28 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of the August’s WTI oil futures decreased by $0.06 (0.08%) to $75.10 per barrel. Following the trading on 2 July the WTI futures for August fell in price by $0.07 (0.09%) to $75.16 per barrel.
