Azerbaijan creates a fund with this country – an agreement reached

July 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan will create a joint investment fund.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the parties agreed on this during the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbayev with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov during the official visit of the Kyrgyz delegation to Baku.

At the meeting, topical issues of bilateral relations were discussed, an agreement was reached on the creation of a joint investment fund and the possibility of resuming direct flights on the Baku-Bishkek route was considered.

They also discussed the issue of completing the construction of a recreation park and a secondary school in the capital of Kyrgyzstan with grant funds from the government of Azerbaijan, as well as the creation of a Kyrgyz trading house in Baku. In addition, Kazakbayev and Asadov discussed issues of interaction and cooperation on possible supplies of COVID-19 vaccine to Kyrgyzstan.

At the meeting, the Kyrgyz side expressed interest in studying Azerbaijan's experience in attracting investment, fighting corruption and crime, reforms in the field of public administration and the judicial system. In turn, Asadov expressed his readiness to visit Kyrgyzstan in the autumn of 2021.
