For past 6 months Meqa Sığorta premiums grew by 2.3%

July 6, Fineko/abc.az. Meqa Sığorta has published a statement about the reduction of premiums.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the company, slight decrease in insurance premiums for Jan-May 2021 was linked due to the expiration of some projects (contracts).

Since 2017 the trend of reducing the company's insurance premiums continued over Jan-May 2021.

However, according to the company's report, an increase in the company's premiums was recorded for Jan-Jun 2021. Thus, in the 1st half of the year company's premiums increased by 2.3% up to 13.4 million, while insurance compensation payments amounted to AZN 2.2 million.
